One number off your reticle
Stadiametric ranging: a known size at an unknown distance subtends a measurable angle. Enter the size and the angle; get the distance. True MOA.

30 cm at 3.0 MOA ≈ 344 m. 30 cm at 1.5 MIL = 200 m. Yards = metres ÷ 0.9144.
- Size presets — a one-tap row from 15 to 120 cm for the sizes you range against most
- MOA or MIL — a switch on the Range tab; the device has the same
- Live — the range updates as you change either number
- Slope correction — the device folds in its measured shot angle (rifleman's rule); up-angle and down-angle both shorten the effective range
Your DOPE, in clicks, at the exact range
Import your Strelok Pro range table as CSV, or type it in. Set your turret's click value and a wind reference speed. From then on, every range you work out comes with the come-up.
- Strelok Pro CSV import — bring your existing solved table straight in; keep several cards
- Per-card click value — ¼ MOA, ⅛ MOA, 0.1 MIL or 0.05 MIL
- Wind reference — set a speed in km/h; the hold scales from there
- Interpolated — the call-out is solved for your exact range, not snapped to the nearest table row
- On the Range tab — elevation and wind, in your angular unit and in clicks, right next to the distance
Walk the stage, position by position
Build a course of fire as an ordered list of positions — a distance and a wind for each. 247Range pre-solves every position into clicks; a full-screen stepper takes you through it.
- Build once — add positions with range and wind; the app solves elevation and wind clicks for each against the active DOPE card
- Full-screen stepper — big numbers, next / previous, nothing to read but the call-out
- Push to the device — send the whole plan over Bluetooth; step it on the handheld, hands on the rifle (remote button planned)

What the handheld adds
The device does the same calculator, log and settings as the app. These are the parts it can do that a phone can't — most of them lean on its 6-axis motion sensor. In development; the board is on order.
Big-tap entry
A number pad sized for the touch LCD — size and reticle reading in, range out, with gloves on and no phone in the loop.
Shot-angle correction
The IMU measures your look angle and applies the rifleman's rule, so a steep uphill or downhill shot gives you the horizontal-equivalent range your DOPE was built on.
Cant bubble while you aim
A live level on the screen edge. A canted rifle walks shots sideways and the error grows with range — green when you're inside tolerance, red past it.
Every solution, logged
The app keeps a full, scrollable range log. Each entry carries its DOPE call-out, a dial note you type, and a timestamp; edit the note or delete the entry. Readings the device takes over Bluetooth land here too. Export and share are planned.

- 14-day grace — it re-checks in the background when it can; go more than 14 days with no internet and it drops to read-only
- Read-only still works — the range calculator and viewing your log, DOPE cards and stages stay available; saving, editing and pushing to the device pause until it reconnects

During the field-test phase the Android app is free — you just need a licence key, which registers your details so we can support you and keep you posted as it develops. Licences will later be sold through 247hunter.co.za, priced in ZAR incl. 15% VAT.

Questions
Is it legal to hunt with?
It's a calculating aid — no optical magnification, no thermal or night vision, and it doesn't touch your rifle's zero. Treat it like a rangefinder and check your province's regulations for any device-specific rules.
Do I need signal in the field?
No. Activate once online, then the app runs fully offline for up to 14 days between background check-ins. The device is offline always; the two talk over Bluetooth.
Which phones?
Android now, installed from a file we send you. Play Store and iOS are planned.
Can I bring my Strelok data in?
Yes — export your range table from Strelok Pro as CSV and import it as a DOPE card. You can keep several cards and pick the active one.
MOA or MIL?
Both. There's a switch on the Range tab, and each DOPE card carries its own click value — ¼ MOA, ⅛ MOA, 0.1 MIL or 0.05 MIL.
When can I buy the device?
It's in development — the board is on order and the firmware core is done. Request a licence key and we'll let you know when a pre-order opens.
